Suggestion for a "This day on ATS" tool

I was just reading some old threads from like 2008 and I thought of an idea that might both be entertaining and educational.

Would it be possible to have a tool setup where you could type in a date and see what threads were created or most popular on that day? (Maybe this is already the case and I just don't know how?)

I think it would be an awesome device. It could let people more easily see the changes that occur at ATS, and whats trended year to year. It also could lead you to see what people were predicting about issues relevant today.

I know nothing about programming and maybe it would be too difficult or not worth it, but it was just a thought.

It's a good idea. For now you can go to recent posts and that's over on the right.

Hey thanks a lot! I figured there was something similar to this already.

Oh that's similar to what i was thinking would be good, but i was thinking more of a... re- roll of the day...
or an ATS pick of the day thread.
