Yoga has its own philosophy , many people want the fitness aspect of it , and could careless about the religious and philosophical side of it .
Nike - just do it . For some people thats enough , no need to dive further into it . If they don't want the bells and whistles to come with yoga , then who are we to force them or ridicule them.
Everyone has their own cup of tea they enjoy , no harm done.

I know it's a broad term and there are different focus points and such.
The question is: Does yoga teach religion and philosophy? If so, which type and what are the religious tenets of the mentioned branch?
In my opinion, alot of people do this for fitness, but barely crack the shell of self knowledge/ spiritualism/reliogion that is the full intention of many of these practices.
They're essentially going through the motions, unquestioning

I question & have gone through the motions. WIth each cell of the human body there is insight, but it is insight designed for my mind. It is hard to convey relevance to another mind on much of what I have learned through yoga.
I do believe that through yoga you can develop mind-bending abilities.
