Huge underwater obelisk in south pacific ocean

I was watching random u tube videos and found this video about a huge obelisk around 10 000 feet tall in the south pacific ocean.There is actually 3 obelisks/towers or what ever they are.I did a search here on ats and did not find anything.Sorry if it has already posted.I tried to find the u tube video again so I could post a link to it but I could not find it.Also looks like a big hole at the base that goes down a couple thousand feet.
As mentioned in the u tube video that I cant seem to find now, it looks like the tower that is on the moon.
Could this just be a glitch on google earth?
Maybe a lava tube or something like that I have no idea what it is.

It looks sharp! Did they anything about it? Volcanic? Is that picture real?

Did not say anything about it in the video.I took me a couple of hours to find it on google earth as I thought it was photoshopped to but its there whatever it is.

one vertex that is off in the 3D model can cause this, easy to spot from the lack of detail on the edges (from the lack of verteces) and the sharp points.

I'm leaning towards glitched verteces especially given the lack of detail on the faces, which should have been divided like the rest of the model... Not sure though

Great find, very interesting Google Earth glitch. Yeah, that does show a hole next to it that goes down to 39,000 feet. Wonder if there's a way to report this to Google for correction?

I'm going to try to find those videos on youtube or find some more information.

The consensus on that thread seemed to be that it was some kind of mapping glitch.

I think anyone's guess is equally valid until someone goes out there with a video camera and checks it out.
