Secret Cipher of the UFOnauts & Secret Rituals of the Men in Black

There's a book called Secret Cipher of the UFOnauts by Allen Greenfield. On page 71 there's an interesting interview (Interview with Terry R. Wriste - June 24, 1994) with a man named Terry R. Wriste (terrorist?) that is apparently some master cipher expert.

In the short interview he tells Allen about underground alien bases and how he and a team of ex Vietnam vets found one of the cave entrances to a base in Georgia(U.S.) where the movie Deliverance was filmed. Apparently they went in and had a short fire fight with the Dero (named Alien species). He mentions Phil Schneider's incident with aliens but doesn't say any names.

“…we were in a kind of cavern, only, I’d say, artificially hollowed out and illuminated by a greenish glow, defuse; not from a single, identifiable source. Anyhow, the whole area resembled (ufologist Dick) Shaver’s less exotic subterranean story descriptions, and, in more recent terms, some of the modern alien base stories.

We were confronted by these small, grayish beings—humanoid only in the technical sense—and one of our guys said “Dero!” and started shooting. He had an M-1 rifle, if I recall. One shot, and [the little gray being] was illuminated in blue, and just gone. Then there was a sound, and I felt my own gun, an M-16, get unbearably hot. I dropped it, turned to run, and was confronted by two of these little gray-skinned guys with a net.

Whatever had convinced me my rifle was hot had apparently not focused on my pistol, a vintage Luger, and one of the little net-holders received the last surprise of its life. It kind of exploded, and the other one dropped the net and ran, up the slope, with me suddenly in pursuit.

When we got beyond the lighted area, though, it was just gone. I heard gun fire and explosions behind me, and that god-awful hum, and I continued, pistol in hand, looking around wildly, to go back the way I came. Only three of us ever made it back to the surface. One of them died a year or so later, of leukemia, I think. He was only about 24-25, so maybe there’s a connection.”

There's also another book by Greenfield called Secret Rituals of the Men In Black that has another interview with this Terry R. Wriste dude where he talks about meeting Indrid Cold the strange man that John Keel encountered during the Mothman events in '66 & '67 in Point Pleasant, WV. He claims Indrid Cold was an ultraterrestrial hiding from the Dero. This interview starts on page 82 and is called Terry R. Wriste on Ultraterrestrials.

What if everything Terry R. Wriste is saying is TRUE...

I'm wondering what ATS members think about both interviews and if anyone has ever heard of this Terry R. Wriste character?

One curious thing to note is that there was a Terry R. Wriste that contacted a paranormal hunting crew in Kentucky to inform them of the Kentucky Goblins events that were going on back in March/April of this year (2012), however, after a few email exchanges with Mr. Wriste he stopped communicating and they haven't had luck tracking him down.

There's speculation that the Kentucky Goblin incident is related to the underground alien bases that Mr. Wriste mentions in his interviews with Allen Greenfied back in the mid '90's.

I should mention the books are non fiction and cover history of "the secret language" and cipher decoding instruction for ancient/current ciphers used by aliens and the illuminati. According to Greenfield, Alistair Crowley understood how to decode these ciphers that are used to pass on secret ancient knowledge. Privileged information.

So who's this Terry R. Wriste person in the two interviews?
Does he come off as believable or not? Underground alien bases?
Do you think he really tracked down Indrid Cold by deciphering his name?
Was it the same Terry Wriste that contacted the ghost hunting crew about the Kentucky Goblins?

It's an intriguing mystery...

Mein Kampf, the writings of Machiavelli, The Communist Manifesto by Karl Marx, The Koran, The Bible and many other books like ancient Roman Law are considered non-fiction, but, that doesn't make them true, correct, accurate, or right.

I am not sure what to think thus far and will have to read more. I just wanted to thank you for the links as I love nothing more than a good read and will be checking both of these out. Thanks again.

After reading 'Secret Ciphers of the UFOnauts' I could understand how this secret ancient cipher stuff could be plausible, though. It was an interesting read, especially the Crowley information. The author provides references that link or verify similarities in ancient artifacts with writings and past & current ciphers.

I wish I had some tl;dr or excerpts to read instead of sifting through the hard to view pages.

Since you talk about those books have you read any of them to say how much true and not true or correct/not correct they are? I for one have read Mein Kampf, the Manifesto of K. Marx and others... just checking

Also how correct is a matter of opinion, I find some ideas of Mein Kampf good, others not.

I know this author, Allen Greenfield, has been on various radio programs but I don't recall which ones. I originally heard about the Terry Wriste guy from a radio interview with the team investigating the Kentucky Goblins and the lead investigator mentioned this Terry Wriste person contacted them.

The only info. anyone has on this name is the 2 interviews in the back of the 2 books mentioned in this thread.

Just an interesting little mystery I was hoping the ATS community could look in to. It could be "something" or it may not.

Ya know, I have had a few good, solid, alien encounters, and after reading that excerpt, cannot even begin to match the cloak and dagger adventures. MIB do not show up at my door, I do not have firefights with ET, And my life does not take on a metaphysical, Shirley Maclaine tinge, either. I just wake up with my brain trying to digest whatever the hell they were cramming in it during one of my trips. We're talking usually dry, dull lectures, and some military style training (and I wonder why I wake up feeling like I do!), and no hysteria. My g/f has not a shred of concern about it. Either I am THE most boring spaceship (abductee? Does not seem to fit) commuter ever, or these people are spicing up something they have no frigging idea about.

I'd be reading stuff like this with silly pseudonyms suspiciously. But... that's just me.

As for this "cave"... Ummm, wouldn't ET have that thing locked up, bolted down, hidden, and just completely inaccessible? It'd be like me leaving my front door open, AND TAKING A NAP. Naked, even. No one to blame but my own dumb self for stuff being stolen, embarrassing pics taken, and the cats getting out- not to mention every bug in creation flying and running in! *Looks in the fridge* AND they took my sandwiches....

Yes, you would think aliens could just conduct their operations from our moon instead of from inside the earth. And if this Indrid Cold was an ultraterrestrial sending out an S.O.S. back in '67, why stop after the collapse of the WV. bridge yet still live in the area years later...

All of what this Terry Wriste character says sounds too fantastical.

It's weird though that a Terry Wriste contacted the Who Forted? paranormal crew about the goblins coming out of a cave in Kentucky to mess with the owners of the property. Police even verified that someone did call and report the incidents but nothing was ever seen or recovered by police.

Those books are interesting I read them and posted them here a couple of years ago.

The books are very intriguing and mix ufology with Aleister Crowley type occultism.
