Looking for some places that I can go and check out close to home, I already know of Lafleche caves, and the old Jail in Ottawa, also the Chateau Laurier.

I keep trying to lookup info on other places, but for some reason my browser keeps cutting out...

Strange.

Anyway, if anyone knows of any places, or homes, people I can get in touch with to visit, any help would be appreciated!

I grew up near the Lafleche cave and have been there dozens of times as a teen...it isa beautifull....eerie.....place.

I live in gatineau and am not aware of many places in the area other than what you mentionned. I know there is a bar near montreal that is owned by McMario (DJ) and have seen tv shows about its haunting....apparently THAT is a place to check out...it called Club 1234, rue de la Montagne, à Montréal. LINK

There is also an old church that is aparently haunted. It is located in Shrewsbury, northn of Lachute. LINK Its ccords are 45° 47' 25.46" N 74° 17' 31.73" W

I know its a few hours drive from ottawa but this is pretty much all I can find in a reasonable distance.

Hope this helped!!

I've always been curious about one place near Ottawa, the old town of Grant at Grid 45.372288,-75.203905 near Limoges, ON, It was abandonned decades ago and only the graveyard is still maintained. The foundations of other buildings are not difficult to find though.

Grant gives me the heeby-geebies when I go there but that might just be the deer flies. Still.
It is not too far from Ottawa. Just a quick 30-40 min drive.

If you can travel to Kingston Ontario there are a SLOUGH of potentially haunted and supposedly haunted places. Fort Henry being the most notable. Williams Street in Kingston is full of historical buildings and one I know of is most definitely a good possibility for being spooked.
