This reminds me of an experience I had as a kid, living in Carmacks, Yukon. I was about 12 years old, and I've always been absolutely terrified of
Aliens, just the thought of them disturbs me let alone seeing a picture even if it's fake.
My dad has always been a believer in UFO's and so he would tell me and my brother stories about them because we always found them extremely
interesting. Anyways, the night I'm talking about was a strange night indeed. My younger brother was 10 at the time and he frequently slept in my
dad's room, leaving me alone in our room. I've always had trouble sleeping at night throughout my life, so I was up relatively late this night by
myself. I finally fell asleep around 2 in the morning.
I recall waking up in the middle of the night, not being able to move any parts of my body, all I could do was move my eyes. I was trying to scream
and yell for my dad and brother, but I couldn't make a single sound. I was terrified. I realize that was in all likelihood, sleep paralysis, but it's
what happened after that makes me wonder. While I couldn't move, I felt the presence of something in the room with me which terrified me beyond
belief. I remember calling for help in my mind as it was all I could do... All of a sudden a bright yellow glowing humanoid shape appeared in my
doorway and I could move again. The fear was instantly gone when I saw this...being. I looked at it and couldn't discern any features beyond a bright
yellow glow and humanoid shape, and before I even knew it, I was asleep again.
To this day I still remember seeing this glowing thing in my doorway clearly like it happened yesterday. Whatever this thing was, it seemed to be
looking out for me as the fear I felt before it appeared instantly melted away when I saw it.
Now, I'll be the first to say that this whole scenario was most likely a dream invented by the busy mind of a young kid that couldn't sleep at night.
But I remember everything clearly, the terror I felt, trying to call out for help, not being able to move, and most importantly the calm and security
I felt when the glowing thing showed up.
Reading my post, it sounds like it's all been made up or that it was simply a bad dream. It's not made up, and I am definitely willing to believe it
could've been nothing more than a bad dream. But all my life, me, my dad, and my brother have all always seen strange lights in the skies, had strange
dreams and sleep paralysis. We would frequently go out at night and just lay in the snow watching the skies for weird stuff. To this day, we all still
see strange lights in the skies, and have strange dreams occasionally.
I remember one night our whole street was awoken by all the dogs on the street barking like crazy, we woke up and let our dogs outside, looked up in
the sky to see a big bright light slowly hovering away from our general direction. Carmacks was a small town, there were about 4 houses on our street
and we all had dogs that were going crazy that night. The dogs ran off down the street barking at this light in the sky, and everyone on the street
gathered on the road to watch this light. After a few minutes, it simply took off in the blink of an eye and the dogs came back home.
I've had many, many strange experiences that lead me to believe that at least
someof my dreams must have been more than simply bad dreams. I'm
21 now, and I'm still absolutely terrified of the thought of Aliens, seeing fake pictures of them or seeing them in movies that I know are fake still
terrify me. After I watch a movie with Aliens in it, I'm afraid of the dark like a little kid for at least a week, and I still won't watch any movie
with Aliens in it by myself.
Sometimes I wake up at night after having bad dreams about them, and I wake up feeling petrified, like I just saw a ghost, so terrified that my mind
and heart are racing the instant I wake up. The only thing I can do when that happens is to think of something completely unrelated to get my mind off
that stuff, so that I can close my eyes again without seeing an Alien in my mind.
You don't have to believe what I'm telling you guys, I'm just glad I can share my stories and experiences with other people that won't look at me like
I'm crazy.
Does anyone else have some weird dreams to share? I'd love to hear about other peoples strange dreams and encounters.
