As a moderate republican you basically summed up my feelings on the coming election. While I don't have a lot of faith in Mitt Romney, I sure don't want another four years of President Obama. I'm not expecting much change overnight if Romney is elected, I do expect the extreme deficit spending and the hard driven socialist agenda to come under control if not cease.

At this point if it was only President Obama and Mickey Mouse on the ballot, I would be voting for Mickey Mouse.

Of course this is why mitt romney was chosen and even the establishment has admitted it.. I heard rush limbrah admitting it the other day. They chose him and they know that there is no enthusiasm behind it. They don't care if Romney wins but I think even the republican establishment wants four more years of obama... sick really

I think this thread says it all. Not a single passionate supporter that says no your wrong and this is the reason Romney will be different. He has failed to articulate what it is that he is going to do, he has a campaign based purely on vote for me over the other guy. When Obama ran in 2008 he at least had his bullet points.

Maybe things will change before the election but I doubt it.

Well yes - that sums it up. It also puts Romeny, the Republican party and the country in a bad spot.

Heck leave politics out of it - just consider this very simply. People don't like you, but they hate the current guy in charge. So, they put you in charge just to get rid of the current guy. But, because nobody was actually *for you* the second you get in charge and mess up even a tiny bit, the people will turn on you in a heartbeat.

I'll vote for Romney if he selects a VP with large breasts; Preferably on a woman.

Otherwise I'll vote for the boob currently in office.

If Romney win's the nomination I am probably going to leave the GOP, Why continue to vote for a political Party that doesn't represent me or my issues(issue's important to me). That is the purpose of political Parties.

However my worry is that the Democrats will be saying the same thing about Romney in just a few months.

Does this echo what any of you are experiencing? Are we going to see the lowest voter turnout in years with neither candidate having an enthused base?

I have an Evangelical background and all my family members I think, are staying at home. They may disagree with Obama , but they are not about to vote for the Anti-Christ because just because he's the other option. Nope. They will stay at home before committing that blasphemy. Evangelicals know what Romney really is and they are not about to damn their souls for some politics.

They could vote libertarian or look up a different candidate.

I don't understand the religious aspect of this. Mormonism isn't an issue, Obama is as much a Christian as he is a Muslim. And the anti-christ comment? WTH is up with that? Are we seeing some extremist religious views now?

Obama damages many aspects of our country and continues to do so. Obama has a fundamental agenda to undermine the (economic power/military power/pride/political power) of America, and has harnessed a cult of believers to so do. He came out of nowhere with no qualification for the position. If you are trying to finger an anti-christ, Obama would be a lead suspect.

I finally saw a bumper sticker for Romney the other day, and I have been watching for those for a few months now. I still havent seen any Romney signs on the side of the road yet though. I dont even see any Obama signs on the side of the road (plus I live in Texas), but I see some Obama bumper stickers every now and then.

Im definantly not voting for Romney or Obama. I cant tell the difference between them and dont trust anything they say. Im problably going to end up tossing my vote to Gary Johnson or Jill Stein, whoever has a bit more attention on them in the week or 2 coming up to election day. (Which also happens to be my birthday, 25 years old)

You cant put a Romney sticker on your car here next to D.C. and Northern VA. You will find Obama supporters are violent and will trash it.
