rainiervisitorguide.com... check this live cam out when there is day light and the weather is good and see if the glaciers are moving, is mt rainier waking up.

Took out the comma at the end of link address and what a nice close up thanks. I can see it out the back of my house but It's pretty far away. To think that thing could go off is pretty scary!

A lot of those cam sites aren't video feeds. They take a still shot on a timed interval.

The trees aren't moving and they should be at least swaying in the breeze at that elevation. It must be a photo.
From the photo, I see nothing out of the ordinary.
The movement is an optical illusion. I experienced it too.
The illusion is probably due to the light of the sunset and the contrast of the glaciers with the dark foreground.

The Glaciers on Mt. Rainier could be melting at and accelerated rate due to the warm weather.

There have been no indications from the USGS of any seismic activity that is out of the norm.
