We all know Paul only had a vision of Jesus.

But Peter also merely had visions.

P.S. The reason christianity spread is because the Romans never considered Jesus a real historical person, and thus Jesus wasn't a threat.

Dr. Richard Carrier is a false prophet and heretic and there is much proof from the romans themselves supporting the life of Jesus Christ. I give this thread a
for being so lacking of any substance. So who cares what some Dr. Richard carrier thinks? All the evidence for Jesus is there... Its a historical fact.

let me get this straight.

this idiot was born almost 2000 years after Christ died, but he knows more than the people who witnessed Jesus' resurrection and testified to it.

commenting on this guy and starting a thread on it is a waste of binary code.

Dr. Carrier **is** going by Peter's testimony in front of the courts.

No its your job to present his arguments in the thread. It's not fair to make people watch 11 minutes of some wacko claiming the most proven person in history didn't exist. Most of these so called arguments have already been refuted thousands of times. So if theirs anything new please feel free to enlighten us.

In the future Carrier believes that scholars will agree that Jesus is mythical.

Good luck with your quest to get people to watch the videos then. As a Christian I can almost guarantee his "arguments" have already been refuted. This thread isn't it worth my time...

Links as in.... Sources? If he's "the most proven person in history," surely there wouldn't be such a wide debate as to whether or not he was fictional.

Also, because I've never seen any proof, outside the bible.... Which hardly counts as proof of factual events?

I was a born again Christian apologist, so I can tell you that noone has refuted these arguments.

Based on what exactly? There is more historical evidence for the existence of Jesus Christ than even for Julius Caesar or any other figure in the ancient world.

You are a funny guy. You also don't believe in evolution, so what does that say about you?

It takes about as much faith to believe in Jesus Christ as it does to believe we actually came from apes.

Ok here's some good links to start with. There is lots of evidence outside the Bible for his life. And its only been contested for about the last 200 years since the bogus evolution theory. So this idea that he never actually existed is quite a new idea not that it should be taken seriously.
