Good for China and Russia!
I miss the good old days when the US was the good guy and these other 2 were not.
Maybe someday we can be the good guys standing up for peoples rather than corporate interests...
Syria received significant financial aid from Persian Gulf Arab states as a result of its participation in the Persian Gulf War, with a sizable portion of these funds earmarked for military spending. In 2005, Russia forgave Syria of three-fourths, or about $9.8 billion, of its $13.4 billion Soviet-era debt. Russia wrote off the debt in order to renew arms sales with Syria. As of 2011, arms contracts with Russia, Syria's main arms supplier, were worth at least $4 billion.
Among the violations were sales to Iran by China’s Dalian Sunny Industries, also known as LIMMT; sales of ballistic-missile goods to Syria; and transfers by Shanghai Technical By-Products International Corp. to Iran of ballistic-missile items.

Why do we even have a UN security council if Russia and China vetoes everything?

How can you say this?
Does the US not represent freedom and democracy?
Atrocities and massacres are being committed, the people struggling for freedom and democracy, and all these powers acting like silly little children, whining about their sphere of influence. Syria needs some sort of help. Maybe just provide arms or send in medics.
The stubbornness of these countries appalls me.
