I found the youtube video grabbed by someone else here:

Matt Lewis over at the Daily Caller just reported that a Romney campaign ad featuring President Obama singing Al Green's "Let's Stay Together" has been pulled by YouTube for copyright reasons.

newsbusters.org...

Seems like Obama is gearing up for life outside the White House in order to become a Grammy winning music celebrity can't have anybody else showing his singing in a bad light, right?

I doubt that very much.

Saying the word's "I'm so in love with you" does not constitute any kind of copy right infringement.
No one owns the word's "I'm so in love with you", even if it is inferred to be lyrics from an Al green song.
This is the typical double standard hypocritical BS that comes out of America everyday.Youtube is a joke. Just another propaganda and control mechanism for the sheep.
The stuff they allow and the stuff they don't allow clearly show's an agenda.
Cia controlled video releases of fake Syrian war footage, and faked massacres are ok, video's of drone killings are ok, endless bashing of Romney over Bain are ok, but show anything that prove's that Obama is a criminal as well as a mass murdering war criminal and Youtube yank's it before anyone can blink.
Once again all I can do is shake my head.

You are so wrong. Using any part of a song, be it even 1 word and not getting permission from the owners of that song is copyright infringement. It happens all the time in political ads, and others, where bands step in and make them stop running it. I just read a story on cnn the other day where a band forced some fast food chain to stop running a commercial because part of one of their songs was in it.

That song is over forty years old..the copyright ran out on it after twenty five years.
Get a grip.
It was ok to run Youtube video's of Obama singing it when it was cool and it made him look hip and cool and Youtube had no problem, but now because it is used against him , now its not ok because of some weak copyright claim that can't even be verified.
It's just Youtube using their powers to fit an agenda. Plain and simple.
If you want to try and get caught up in copyright BS then go ahead. It's a perfect distraction from the real reason it was removed.

Artist pulled that same thing during the last election cycle, not allowing their songs to be played at Republican events where Palin and McCain were, that is one reason I despise them.

Yes I said despise.

It's not youtube, it's the copyright owner. the right to songs don't just run out, someone owns them. Or do you think the rights to all beatles songs are just up in the air? Wrong.

I just watched it on YouTube. Clicked the YouTube Link on your video. Try it.
Don't know why you think it was pulled.

I love his voice!

They were up in the air and Micheal Jackson bought the rights to them.
This isn't about copyright, this is about Youtube being a propaganda tool.
If you guys wanna keep whining about copyright laws go right ahead, thats just the distraction.

Facts please....

The Beatles library was "not up in the air". They were put up for auction by the copyright owner's ATV Music because the Beatles didn't own the library outright because of a badly negotiated deal in their beginnings.

How Michael Jackson acquired the Beatles catalog: a short outline

But in November, 1984, Jackson's representatives called with serious intentions. "When the ATV music publishing catalogue, which contains many Lennon-McCartney songs, went on sale, I decided to put up a bid. I consider myself a musician who is also a businessman and Paul and I had both learned the hard way about business and the importance of publishing and royalties and the dignity of song writing," Jackson was quoted as saying.

This is about copyright and youtube didn't pull it until the copyright OWNERS BMG Rights Management Group filed a complaint.

CBS Al Green copyright story

It was that video that prompted music publisher BMG Rights Management to file a copyright complaint.

So.....what are you saying again? Do you understand what copyright actually is? Yes a small phrase, spoken in a certain way, with an underlying melody, can be copyright infringement if the owners file a complaint....google "sampling" for exact rules. Youtube will pull ANYTHING if contacted by the rights holder.

Obama rocks!

Mitt can't sing Al Green.

Mitt can't sing at all really.
He's got one helluva nice car elevator though.

If I were a felon I'm sure I'd have one too.

If you were a felon you would probably be in jail. If you were accusing people of crimes they had already been cleared of you would most likely be sued. Obama is above the law though. Fast and Furious proves that.
