BC Landslide narrowly misses news crew - cool video of the slide

I thought that this was just a cool video, this landslide seemed to sneak up on the people in the video, luckily they were all okay.

Not much of a conspiracy here other than the fact the number of these weird earth events are way-off the chart. Please don't tell me it's just due to the interconnected world today. People have been able to take pictures with their cell phones and email them for over ten years, and we've had 24hr cable news for almost 30 years.

In years gone by, we would ocassionally have events like this from widespread locations around the world, now these events are common everywhere. Look what has just happened in the last few days; all these slides in BC, huge slides in Japan, two X class flares, snow in South Africa, crazy storms everywhere!

That other guy on the shore, he was darn lucky his mate got him in that boat!
I wish the camera stayed on them a bit more, looks like the boat only narrowly got turned around to outrun the debris in time! Buy a lotto ticket!

Its not totally unrelated to conspiracy theory though. There have been a lot of land movements happening recently all over the world. Huge cracks turning up overnight, highways being turned into jump ramps, sink holes swallowing vehicles and buildings.

Maybe they are all related. Maybe it has to do with the Earth expanding or growing bigger, there are a few theory's about that going around.

Yes, I agree, sinkholes, cracks, weather, animals...............if you noticed my name you know I wouldn't disagree.

However, dealing with the naysayers can get a bit tedious, and I thought it was a really cool video, especially the close call aspect of it, so I thought I would share it here without collecting the "de rigueur" controversy and comments.

Well the video shows me that the landslide was 1. Unexpected and sudden and 2. big enough to cause concern for the safety of those in the area.

Sad. You don't often hear about killer landslides in the UK, or am I mistaken?

very unusual especially for this time of year. All this rain has damaged a lot of roads and the ground is very saturated. I expect there will be a few more landslides in the next few months if the rain continues as they say it will do.
