What you are seeing is the effect of studio lights that are used in sets, Usually two are used from both sides of your face this makes 2 flashes in in the iris that leave 2 hotspots side to side of the pupil in fact overpowering it and making it look thinner, giving it the reptile look.
Unless i too am a reptile and i'm not aware of it or my brother and coworkers.

doesn't seem t be that uncommon in clear close up pictures.
That's exactly what I thought rather professional looking for a mug shot there usally flat looking like dmv photos.

Certainly don't think it is reptile eyes.
