Check this out:

www.livejournal.com...

Is it for real? Are they trying to rig another election?

It's time to speak out!

Oh give me a break - no one is rigging an election here. It is a simple printing mistake.

Besides, any half wit should understand it is a printing mistake and adjust - if they can't figure that out, they are not smart enough to be voting.

BTW - I could spin this as "KERRY IS TRYING TO STEAL THE ELECTION, BECAUSE THERE IS NO ARROW TO VOTE FOR BUSH WITH"

See my point?

Obviosly the printer has to correct this, but there is no attempt to steal an election here.

I agree, if someone voting can't take the time to read it carefully and ask questions of officials on the scene if there are any doubts then they have some serious problems.

Everyone should read the ballots carefully. But it is a bit lame that they couldn't make darn sure the thing was printed carefully.

Oh great wise mad man

Please explain how you would make this adjustment, to reflect your voting intention. Please explain how it is that you believe others would do the same as you.

The printing error invalidates the whole electoral process for receivers of this "mistake".

I agree. An argument can be made for both sides. If Kerry wins, it was rigged because you couldn't vote fore Bush.

If Bush wins, it was rigged because a vote for Kerry ended up being a vote for Bush.

Everyone needs to calm down. It was a printing mistake for a county, not state, ballot and is being fixed. If anything, this should serve as a reminder to everyone to vote. You never know when your vote will really count!
