Meditation is a tool of magicians that is based on psychological triggers and connections. Nothing supernatural or magical about it.

I've gotta go with Supes on this one. Even going with post-Crisis canon we can conclude that he can lift at least 6,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 metric tons. The evidence for this comes from JLA Vol. 3 #75 in which he, Martian Manhunter, and Wonder Woman move the Earth. Now assuming these three are equally strong (although we know they're not) we can figure how much Supes can lift.

People can complain about Superman being too powerful but isn't Goku the same way? They both pull out some new trick that saves the day when things seem bleakest. At least in Superman's case we get an explanation. In Man of Steel #1 Jor-El says that Kal-El will continue to get stronger because his Kryptonian cells will continuously absorb energy from the yellow sun of Earth.
