Explain these Mars photos for me

id have to say that the thing in the picture that misfit put up on pg 1 is just a piece of a solar panel from a probe. the probes camera was turned and only caught a little piece of its self

I have found a picture and I'm not sure if I am making a fool of myself...


I found this whilst sifting thru a few Nasa Mars photo's and was looking for any large shadows on the ground.
I have the original large photo of the site, this is just a portion of the actual photo.

Maybe it's been posted before tho... is so sorry for the trouble.
As you all can clearly see, the thing is massive, it's shadow was the first thing that made me enlarge this portion of the photo in the first place.
