It is difficult for me to understand about the (Suzy Sunshines)...I have met several of those types of people in my lifetime...and I always think...how delusional are they?

I agree with you...a well rounded person is one who talks about positive things...but can also discuss the negative things in life too...without becoming a fanatic about any...well maybe just a little...lol...

There is one Suzy Sunshine in my life I must tell you about. She came over one day, skipping all the way over I'm sure.

When I answered the door, she could see I had been crying, and asked what was wrong in her most cheerful voice.

I told her, my 15 year old Kitty had passed away...she then in her best perky voice told me...*think of all the money you'll save not needing to pay that cat's vet bill anymore".. True story. I wanted to punch her perfect little perky smile right then and there...but I didn't.

Aww, that was just mean to say...

But, I also have a small giggle about the comment.

I agree. It was very cruel, but that was the first plus she could think of on the spot. Suzy Sunshines always grasp at that silver lining, even when it's a razor blade.

I do what I like to call "The Bobble Head" with these folks. I just keep shaking my head up and down and they never even seem to notice.

It's more than weird!
I guess they are more concerned with not taking a breath mid sentence than they are with any chiropractic issues we may have!

It all started with a child that could take a 2 minute story and stretch it out to encompass the whole dinner hour...

"Probably so", "more than likely", "I reckon", and "it figures", are always good fall backs as well.

Have you ever become so numbed by one of them, that you've grabbed them by the elbow, dragged them over to some other poor bloke, introduced them and walked away. I have....

Ain't proud of it...but sometimes that's only way to get away...pass 'em off.

That's when I like to pull the "About to wet my pants" routine....then I never come back.
I have never pawned them off, but I have left them standing lol.

Ahhhh.....but, you can perfect the bobble head pass-off. It's really one smooth move, they never even notice you are gone if you do it right....
