Which future for alien investigation?

Hi everybody.

Presumably each one of us heard about the death of Budd Hopkins last year.

Unfortunately this sad event is part of a general situation, as far as I know. Almost all eyewitnesses of main ufo
events (Roswell, etc.) passed away and the most popular pioneer scholars about aliens (Jacobs, Vallee, von Daniken, etc.) are quite aged.

I am a bit worried because I feel like the main historical tradition of research is going to be lost. May be I am not well-informed, but I don't see here around successors of the same caliber of these guys.

So I would like to know your opinions about the future of the UFO-alien research.

I'm not sure I see the connection to NWO. Maybe you posted this in wrong forum?

The only time I see references to UFO/Aliens and NWO is when someone is trying to prove
A) The UFO phenomenon is a government created hoax that will eventually be used for a false flag Alien attack so they can declare martial law. Or have an excuse to finally instantiate a one world government.
B) That NWO is lead by reptilians or reptilian hybrids.

Not that I endorse either of those theories....

We as a species evolve more and more as time passes so our knowledge grows with time passing on. I myself am 19 and very knowledgeable on the subject. Here is a post on another site which I will post on this site when I can that explains a lot.

I will take a look for sure.
The reason why I was so worried is because the last time I heard from Dr. Jacobs I felt like
he was a little bit depressed since after 40 years spent in alien research he was not able to understand
the phenomenon; bear in mind he is one of the greatest contributors to alien characteristics investigation...

On the other hand it is certain that I am missing many points, since I have little time to browse the net and I am spending a lot of time for the family and scientific research, which is my main interest.

I think you're probably right and ufology is running out of ideas and new thinkers. Also, the subject matter of ufology has changed so much since the mid-70s that there's very little to get involved in. I mean, how many young, intelligent people are going to be attracted to a subject that now only seems to involve lights in the sky and the odd structured object?

Another hurdle is the fact that very bright folk have applied themselves to the *enigma* for decades. We've had damn near every iteration of every idea already and anything else seems to be splitting hairs or elaborating.
