As the Country Falls Apart Obama skips out to Camp David

Deadly weather across the east, raging wildfires out west but wait Obama's Health Care is as good as upheld by the SCOTUS so the one thing that he only truly cared about in his entire term in office is deemed constitutional. Meanwhile Colorado and the midwest is screaming for Federal Aid to help them with their fires. Crazy storms, hail and power outages affect the East Coast as temps reach triple digits for the first time in history! 22 people are dead from these events in the North East. Many more dead in the Midwest. 2 Million people without power across the country.

I mean, it seems like with every major disaster or constitutional black out this guy does, he then goes off to celebrate the destruction of America. I know Obama can't do much about Mother Nature, but at least Bush went right down to Katrina and stayed there to help the victims as much as he could. Obama just walked around Colorado,,,

Every time I hear people complain about the Pres or Congress, I look to the DMV, and nod, Yep, about the level of service I expected.

He visited Colorado and promised federal aid. What do you want him to do? Put on a firefighter's uniform and grab a hose? Drive one of the trucks? Fly a helicopter?

I'm just glad that he finally went to Camp David instead of trotting his family around the world on two 747's for nice bucolic change of pace. This is what Camp David is for.

As for those drudging up Bush again. He typically went to his ranch in Crawford where he often worked and held meetings during his stay there. Reagan often took of to head to his ranch and did the same thing.

Obama does not have a ranch (funny if he did) so he has been known to jetset and golf over 100 rounds plus during his term.. Don't forget the WH concert series and the famous White House Happy Hours hosted by Barack and Michelle.

I guess its not fun to vacation back in his Chicago Townhome. ...

Bush did real good at preventing disaster during Katrina as he was busy at John McCain’s 69th birthday. And he had the nerve say good job Brownie when he got back. What a fin joke.

So what else is new????? When my state of Connecticut was slammed in August by hurricane Irene and millions of people lost power for weeks and than again the snow storm on Halloween...again people lost power for weeks. You think the government helped us out in any form other than declare us eligible for government loans.
All aid was done on a state level, local red cross, volunteers and power companies from out of state.
So I hope he has a great time cause I know if their was any kind of disaster in my state we would just have to help ourselves!

Is this necessary? First off, the country didn't magically start falling apart a year ago. Where ya been?
Secondly, what do you want him to do? Fly back to Colorado and start dumping buckets of water in the area? He's a fireman too now?
He was in Colorado Springs already to tour the damage and make an assessment of major disaster area. He granted it as such.

Everytime with these silly things. Clinton, Bush, Obama it just gets old. Do you really think any of them even have a single day off? The answer is no. When they are on "Vacation" they still do all the nations buisness because they have to. What they tone down on is the photo ops and political calls etc. So their idea of a vacation day is about 8 hours of work instead of 12 to 14. It is just a pathetic attempt to smear whatever President somebody does not like. Although it seems most people are smart enought to see it for what it is. Complete and total bunk. The funniest part about this thread is that the majority of people telling you to chill and making excuses for Obama were giving GB hell over his vacations and Katrina response. What did they expect him to do? Fly a helicopter in for some rescues? Maybe fill sandbags??

At least GB showed up after Katrina. He found time to take care of business and take a little time for himself!

They found the god particle. He is now at camp david getting it implanted. That way he can keep up with Romney and his chip implant to calculate numbers.
