well I guess as the saying goes, "it takes one to know one". So when Rupert Murdoch is calling something evil and creepy, he may have point.

I follow Murdoch on Twitter and saw his tweets against Scientology. He claims to have had hateful tweets from thousands of angry Scientologists. He also claimed on Twitter that Tom cruise is 2nd in the hierarchy of scientology.

Media mogul Rupert Murdoch has put his two cents in on the news that Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes are getting divorced.

"Watch Katie Holmes & Scientology story. Something creepy, maybe even evil, about these people," Murdoch, the chairman and chief executive of News Corp. tweeted Sunday morning.

Murdoch's tweet followed Friday's news that Holmes had filed for divorce from Cruise after five years of marriage.

Katie, 33, is fighting for sole custody of Suri, six, so SHE — and not Cruise, a follower of the cult faith — controls the child’s religion and education.

A pal said she was “terrified” Suri would soon have to begin Scientology schooling.

I wouldn't normally quote the Sun newspaper, but as it's Murdoch's paper and he claims to stand by every word.

Rupert Murdoch is the embodiment of creepy and evil. Ironic that he would make a statement like this.

Wow, for once I agree with Rupert Murdoch on something.

And yes, as the above poster said, Rupert Murdoch is also creepy and evil, but I will grant Mr. Murdoch that Scientology is even more creepy and probably more evil than he is.

No surprise here really.
I thought everyone knew that Reptilians and Scientologists are as buddy-buddy as the Hatfields and McCoys.

Do you remember when the internet had a day against scientology? well me and a couple of dudes went to the local Scientology place in Leeds and a couple of hundred of us were protesting about it and I saw a guy in there taking pics of us all, he walked out towards us and started asking us our names etc and then started again with the taking our photo thing, I told a copper I didn't want my photo taken and he took the camera from the guy and deleted all his photos

The guy was like "You can't do that cry cry cry" the copper turned around to him and said "Look pal we are the only people here stopping this lot ripping you a new arsehole now feck off" we all cheered at the copper and he took a bow and when the scientology guy left he turned to me and said "bloody looneys I read about them last night when I heard I was posted here and If I wasn't working I would be right here next to you lot"
That copper was a dude

Excellent story BM!

I am amazed to find myself agreeing with something Rupert Murdoch said.
I did not see that one coming.

Oh Murdoch shouldn't worry, Tom's cult has another beard all lined up for him once the divorce is done.

Well i guess Holmes has a "big gun" in her corner, she will need it when the Cruise and his minions come after her.

I used to live in L.A. right down the street from a bunch of the Scientology buildings on Hollywood Blvd., they were always all over the place there. There presence in Hollywood is really huge. They like to grab young kids, a lot of them runaways and suck them into the cult right off the streets there. An acquaintance of mine, who was a somewhat successful actor (was in a lot of commercials and often does guest spots on TV and such), was always curious about them, not interested in joining but just wanted to see what they were about, so he went in off the street for one of their "free audits," they are always offering.

They sat him down in a room, hooked him up to an e-meter and started asking him really personal questions and asking him to open up about stuff. Being an actor, he decided to ad lib all sorts of crazy stories about his past, none of them true, then he looked down and noticed the guy had started recording their sessions on audio. He asked the guy to stop recording, the guy said he wouldn't, he asked the guy if he could have the tape, the guy said "no." So he left. But it's always bothered him that somewhere in their files, the Scientologists have this tape of him saying all kinds of crazy, but false things about his past. He figured if he ever became a famous actor that would come back to haunt him some day.

If Murdoch is too creepy to your liking you can always take Matt Stone and Trey Parker words for it.

The Tom Cruise case is a bit more complicated.
Its either truly a good guy or he's acting like a good guy, wich is evil-ier. I know, I know.
That's his job after all but my eyes are wide shut.

Remember when Guy Ritchie broke up with Madona, same stuff happened but it was put on the cabal belief of Madona at the time.
I wonder if its a way to not loose face on a break up but its weird no matter what.
What about Ledger or Jackson, I could understand how it is if your not in the "Gang"

Making up your own religion where you get to wear an admirals uniform instead of the ghastly clothing the Pope wears sounds like a really good gig. I wish I had thought of that. I bet the Pope is jealous.

That's even better than Palin calling Pelosi a dingbat.

I guess some people really don't know what they themselves are.

I sent away for some information on Dionetics more than 25 years ago....

Understand that I was young and into comparative religions and such. I got some of their free stuff never really sending them money for the change to the "paid tier" information. I realized quickly it was basically a pyramid scheme – the more money you put in the more enlightened or awakened one could become.

Anyway, the weird thing is that even though I was in the military and have moved from State to State and even to a few foreign Nations (I'd estimate about 15-20 times changing address in that time period.) to this day I still get mail from them a couple times a year asking me to come back.

I find it odd that they can track me all over the globe to the right address even though I haven't filed a change of address form with the post office since the electronic age emerged. I pay bills by bank draft or e-check I don't get any magazines or whatnot.

I did background checks for the government and it's really hard sometimes to keep track of a person's address if they have a transient or migratory working arrangement. These guys are good!
