Really?

Use your imagination a little, stretch your paradigm. What are all the 100s of possible reasons people on ATS might come up with for a recent loss of appetite, and why might they post it in the metaphysics forum. Get back to us after you've pondered on that a bit.

I could type all the pertinent reasons I could think of, but then the character limit would probably run out and your imagination wouldn't get any exercise.

We are currently in the process of ascension. As you progress down the path of ascension, you begin to more and more activate your energy body. Your energy body is not dependent on food to provide energy, as it is naturally abundant with energy, which is its nature. Thus a certain loss of appetite is to be expected as a symptom of the coming ascension. It is a sign of the energy body being awoken.

Do you have any good links that I can follow up and read on this?? It sounds interesting indeed. Any help would be appreciated. I can search, but I would rather do word of mouth since I am unaware of what could be bogus or not yet.

That was the main one at the top of my mind. Along with the Age of Aquarius, and then of course what many others have mentioned, our food no longer looks like food to us anyway. Bugs won't even eat it. That was my top 3 explanations when I read the OP.

I wonder if this could be down to intestinal flora, the bacteria that lives within your digestive tract. I say that because for years i wasn't very hungry, until i had a course of metrozonadole antibiotics and since then i've been hungry as the proverbial hippo.

Not me. I just had a 12 inch sub from Subway, "the Bull" with the horseradish mayo, and a bag of chips, 4 chocolate chip cookies, 2 large Dr. Peppers, and I'm starting to get hungry again. Of course, I did feel groggy and lethargic all afternoon, and I always feel that way after a big meal, especially a meal containing so many carbs and sugars. Probably wasn't a good idea to eat all of that now that I think about it.

I myself have been experiencing the disinterest in food lately. I eat pretty healthy these days, or try to. The weather can play a big factor on appetite since I don't have much appetite during summer especially on the super hot days.

I've been having this problem for about 3 years now. And I work around food all day and can eat whatever I want when we're not busy. It got to the point where I just stopped eating, had to force my self, otherwise I would be up first thing in the morning throwing up bile. Not fun. I'm getting better about it (finally), haven't hugged a toilet in a long time.

I certainly hope not. All my blood work recently came back good but I am not sure if that would show up??
I know that the doctor suggested a prescription allergy medicine he said would make me feel like I was starving and help me gain weight, but I didn't want to take it just for that. The other side effects were scary!

I could probably do that. I have always been little and I lose weight easily, so it is a trial for me to keep eating even when I don't want to just so I don't get sick or lose weight. I am glad to hear that it has passed for you! That doesn't sound like fun at all.

Well put Journey, was going to write something similar.

I noticed something change in me about 3 months ago. I was a daily drinker up to that point and then I just stopped, have not wanted or touched a drink since. My appetite also wained and my sleeping patterns have changed also. For a few weeks I was waking up at 3.30-4.00 am every morning, but that has stopped for now.

I definately believe that a shift is occuring in our energy matrix on Earth, and it is affecting people in all different ways, both in the physical and metaphysical realms. You can call it ascension or whatever label that might fit your personal paradigm. I just know that a massive shift is under way and it's better to ride the wave then try and swim against it.

Terrence McKenna was a very switched on dude - he predicted this would happen (an increase in novelty in 2012). - read his stuff, he was an absolute genius.

Peace Out - Ned

McKenna was indeed brilliant. His description of novelty is both fascinating as well as logical. Personally, my favorite is Timothy Leary, but McKenna is up there as well, and his novelty theory/timewave zero is more relevant to the topic of discussion, lol.

Oddly enough, I find myself craving Ramen Noodles. I haven't eaten them for years, and suddenly that's all that sounds good.

That and oranges, beer, and marshmellow.

So did you think that comment was productive or something?

There is nothing 'metaphysical' about appetite problems.

I heard Ramen Noodles uses palm oil ... (causing extinction of orangutans)...not sure what other noodles use.

I've basically lost interest in food too ... and it's a nightmare shopping ... GMO's, endangering species, anti-biotics, pesticides, HFC's, mercury , trans-fats , toxic metals in the fertilizer and food and animal cruelty etc....

I'm not eating much either...still taking a multi-vit and forcing bits of fruit and some veggies down myself ... hoping this doesn't last...........

I think I need a personal chef ....

Those two large Dr. Pepper's didn't help matters. High Fructose Corn Syrup inhibits Leptin production, which is the hormone that tells your brain when you are full.

Because it has nothing to do with this forum.

Was that a hard mystery to solve?
But then again, you're only posting for stars. lol!
