Your right, but listen to the audio he states he is a marine and he has his combat gear on.

Marines with PTSD being shot by local law enforcement should worry everyone...

We have these people serve our nation, yet when they are in distress we put them down like stray animals...

I know that's not the case, but for this fellow it might have been.

Police fire approx. 30 shots at an unarmed man...

Afterwards EMTs try to revive him.

Perhaps I should add this to my sig: "Peace keepers destroy peace..."

"Investigators say that Salinas was actually unarmed at the time of the shooting."

Dispatcher: "9-1-1 state your emergency."

Caller: "I want to kill myself"

Dispatcher: "Are you armed at all?"

Caller: "Yes."

Dispatcher: "What are you armed with?"

Caller: "I have a 9mm."

The shooting took place behind the Autozone in Sanger

“The officers made contact with him in the parking lot, he was hiding in bushes,” said Chris Curtice, spokesperson for the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office.

The officers told the man to come out into the open several times, but he refused.

“At some point, there was some action made by the suspect and the officers did shoot,” Curtice said.

Witnesses near the scene said they heard around 30 shots fired.

Emergency personnel arrived at the scene and tried to revive Salinas, but he died, according to authorities. Investigators think the incident may have been a police officer-assisted suicide. LINK
