Cool find man.

In the future you should carry around a small pocket ruler, so those of us watching can get a better idea on just how large it is

good idea, a field plaster kit might be a wise idea as well

Yeah that could help - but might be a bit bulky. I'm not sure what kind of packs you are using, if any, on your field trips.

Typically in video or picture, a common size reference is ideal to determine the size.

I'm sure you could find a plaster kit that is fairly small.

Seems like odd ground to find a track/print (of any kind).

I'd be willing to bet that it was caused by an animal scratching at the ground.

Was the ground cover slightly thicker on one side?

He pretty much did....

There is a some type of print on the ground, and a girl puts her foot in it.

It is a large print - about double the size of a standard human foot print.

If you observe the video you will see that this is not a scratch print. The edges and center are well defined, and depressed.

for the future you could film anything from your wallet to determine relative size. A dollar bill, or your license (backward or course) would show a great reference to determine the size of the print. Thanks op.

The title pretty much describes the video perfectly.

Also, if you're going to sue the word "aren't"...may as well spell it right. I would have went a different route, that word is garbage and should never be used. One more thing, we don't write things down anywhere...

Before you call someone out on their thread...

I'll just leave it at that, haha.

But on the subject at hand! Nice video (I'd do what the others say, if you were indeed looking for this sort of thing), and bring along a molding kit of somekind. Also, leave that idiotic girl at home to ruin things there. What a bonehead!

Did you smell anything? I would have got down and taken a whiff.

The ground appears to be fairly dense and rocky.

Well, if you're going to use the word "use" you may as well spell it right. And yes, you can write things down, up, sideways, under, over, between, and many other prepositions.

As for an object to scale the photos, your own hand will do in a pinch ... Not terribly accurate, but will at least distinguish macro and micro scales.

Either Bigfoot hops on one leg or goes tweet tweet or has floppy ears.
Looked like a dustbath for either birds or rabbits.
Why is it when someone says they found bigfoot tracks there's only one?
This is obviously too deep an impression for a footprint, it appears to be dug up rather than stepped on.
I need more convincing evidence than this

It is possible that the ground could have been moist when the impression was made in the soil. This could acount for such a deep print - say in the early morning when the due has fallen, or after a breif summer rain that lasts for a few moments. You can observe the deep green of the surrounding vegitation, which in thin leaf plants indicates a recent wattering.

I am not saying I am convinced that this is a bigfoot photo - but we do not have enough evidence to say what it is.

The video in question was published on YouTube.com on the 26th, of June. However, everyone in the video is wearing jackets and warm clothes. While I realize this is at night time, I am curious on when this video was made as it is now summer and the nights should be fairly warm.

Is this an old video?

Were the ground wet when this supposed track was made it would have a smoother appearance that what we see here. This ground was bone dry when it was disturbed and I can assure you as a search and rescue tracker that no tall hairy hominid made it.

Many places in the US it gets cold even on summer nights.

Eta- after looking at it a bit longer I can clearly make out the rabbit tracks inside.

How about just finding out what size his girlfriends foot is?

What size is your girfriends foot?
From what I can tell her foot looks to be about a size7 which is an average womens size.

after looking again in my opinion it would be anywhere from 14 to 16 inches long and about 4 to 5 inches wide.
again my opinion...
