Hi,

I stumbled on this website while researching the possible relation between neural oscillations and quantum entanglement.

Found some interesting studies on these forums that hinted as to the possibility of this phenomenon, which I think potentially provides a scientific grounds for telepathy.

Browsed for a while, then registered to ask some questions.

Basically the possibility of transfer of information from one individual to another via brain waives. That's basically how EEGs work. Our brain emits @ the frequency band of 4-30 Hz, and EEGs can measure these.

People like Persinger have proposed (and to an extent experimented with positive results) that these emissions could have a direct effect on the minds of others. Thus allowing for the remote transfer of information using nothing more than our minds.

Thanks for the easy to understand explanation.

Not so long ago, a couple of threads went by on ATS showing early attempts to read the mind via ....yes, some electronic method and then show it on a screen. The results were quite startling, not always accurate but close, very close. There were 2 pictures for comparison. The object or picture the observer was actually looking at and then the electronic reconstruction.

The other thread concerned a similar method to "see" what people hear, in other words, reading their mind, taking the data from the sound processing part of the brain and then replaying it. Pretty interesting but also frightening stuff in the hands of a paranoid and desperate government.

Oh yes, IBM say they will have a mind-reading login device for their PC's in the next 5 years. You will just need to think of your password. Interesting times...
