Members of the Republican political elite are also expected to attend the weekend session. Among political celebrities slated to attend are former secretary of state Condoleezza Rice and former Bush strategy adviser Karl Rove.

www.capitolcolumn.com...

Other Members of the Republican Party who are expected to show up are:

Former secretary of state James Baker
Former senator Norm Coleman
U.S. Senator John McCain
Weekly Standard editor Bill Kristol
Senator Rob Portman
Former governor Tim Pawlenty
Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal
Wisconsin Representative Paul Ryan
South Dakota Senator John Thune
Former Governor Jeb Bush
Representative Connie Mack

Obviously this list is a who's who of the most powerful figures in the GOP. Rumors swirled around conservative circles earlier this weekend when come to find out, Marco Rubio, the VP front runner was NOT invited to attend Romneypalooza. Is he out as VP? the GOP wonders.

I believe from this list we can point out these people are on the fast track to a Romney White House as most of these people make for wise choices for the GOP if Romney wins the election in Nov.

You sound very excited about the guest list.

I would not go close to a gathering of the likes of those people. For a number of reasons. Paul Ryan is pretty cool though. At least America has one guy that is pushing for an actual budget.

Romney is a better choice than Obama but so is Scott Baio if you know what I mean.

I am no Romney fan but Obama is the devil. So the choice should be crystal for Americans.

I dont know if our choice is clear but our realizations should be by now : We are screwed!
If it plays out and the presumptive nominee is romney and obama is the actual dem and those are our two choices for pres. then nothing will get better for the american people. They will all continue to not fix any of the problems that they help to create and they will demand more money to do so. All the while taking out freedoms and rights and saying i dont wanna do it and i wont use it but i will sign it anyway, and we have to pass it to see whats in it.

So you think it's a good thing that your candidate keeps company with war criminals, liars, murderers, and theives? That gives you hope?

To any well reasoning person it just casts EVEN MORE doubt on Romney. It's like every year they try and succeed at breaking the record for worst president. I promise you, if Romney is elected, you will regret it. I don't support Obama, but Romney will be worse. I will cast my vote for Paul and leave it at that so I can't be blamed.

Romney is no better. If it comes down to the two of them it really doesn't matter who you vote for.

More like a list of America-Screwing bums.

...as most of these people make for wise choices for the GOP if Romney wins the election in Nov.

Wise choices?

Sigh its so sickening to see delusional human beings who are total FANBOYS and total BOOT-LICKERS to traitorous DEVIL politicians who dont give a FLIP about the country or ANY OF US HERE.

Enjoy your Romney flip-flopper who will be EXACTLY THE SAME AS OBAMA. No wonder the country is a MESS. Its folks like you who think that a different candidate from either of the PUPPET parties will make a difference. SAD!!!!!!!

Romney will make the SAME president as Obama, thats a guarantee. And if there ARE a few changes coming from him, it will be changes that make life WORST for your average American.

And this thread is about your one millionth azz-kissing Romney thread here on ATS. Do you have a JOB??? Or at least a moral hobby besides kissing up to devil politicians?

This country is a MESS thanks to devilish typical American-screwing greedy corrupt politicians and their delusional fanboy-boot-licking-supporters who are brainwashed to think that "their" puppet candidate will do something right for the country. SAD, SAD, SAD.

The country will NEVER improve until such folks get their heads out of their REAR-ENDS and stop WORSHIPPING these SCUM-BAG CORRUPT AMERICAN-HATING TRAITOR POLITICIANS.

YAY, 4 to possibly 8 more years of change, and than 4 to possibly 8 more years of change, and more change, and more change, and more change. How about we get consistent with our change at least, keep it all in one positive direction followed suit by the next.

How about we keep people begging for change out of the White House, we have banned them from the center dividers on streets and highways? I guess its different when the beggars have guns, that makes them criminals and the pres and scotus and all those alphabet agencies like IRS command the largest number of guns, so doesnt that automatically make them criminals?

I do not think people should vote for either. but since it looks like everyone has given up on a third party, then I think it matters alot. Obama is a liar. He has done nothing. To rewrd him with another term is like telling the republocrat duoploy regime that they can do what they like.

Who has given up on a third party.

If it doesn't matter between the two then cast your vote third party or write in someone. The more people that do that the more of a message it sends. Sending that message does more for the country than casting a meaningless vote for Obama or Romney.
