Police heavy Armoured Public Order Vehicles being transported through st Helens Merseyside .

Hi on 20/06/2012 I spotted two brand new shiny police heavy armoured snatch vehicles on the back of transporters passing by me in the opposite direction , wanted to u turn and follow but needed to be somewhere ,
Anyway made me think why such heavy duty vehicles would be needed in my region as there generally only used in Northern Ireland and military versions within the British army ,
Are we expecting fun and game shortly ? As well as the Olympic games …..

They have them all over the US. Those look like dinky toys compared to whats in the states. They are used for bank robbery's and to scare people at protest. I do not know why our police force needs them, all they do is transport cops.
