Oh, I agree. Just wasn't touching on that. My points were more about whether or not she should be in a mental ward--which my conclusion was that I don't have all the facts. For instance, I haven't heard from the Doctor that HE states that SHE needs to drop the religion. It's only coming from her side, so far. That's the issue with trying to have an opinion on this at all.

What happened to posts on the 21st? I didn't see anyone post what happened during her competency hearing.
It's simple. Her "friend" looks like a hippie and they were planing to go out of town together. The family didn't like this so they had her committed to get his influence from her.

The only way a christian can get into Heaven through the loss of their own life is by sacrificing it for another. Suicide is a 1 way ticket straight to Hell. No if, and's or buts. The Bible is pretty blunt on that. I don't know they would be present on Judgement Day.edit on 21-6-2012 by GoldenRuled because: (no reason given)
No, what I said goes for all Christians in general.

True there are very radical Christians out there that do not read their Bibles and have taken their own agendas waaaay too far but to insinuate that being Christian is a mental illness is just plain ignorrant. It could be argued by Christians that a refusal or inability to place faith in anyone or anything but yourself shows serious narcicism and mental illness.

Being a theist is a social mental illness, it starts off as just being a victim and being deceived but it quickly adapts to your person and alters you brain, thinking, perception, reasoning and rationality.
Christians can argue what they want but they do not have facts, evidence and reality to back them up.

Just wanted to point out that in the article it is claimed that this woman and man were about to go on a road trip to take part in "spiritual warefare" before a spiritual event took place.
Umm.. Sorry, yeah, I'd call the mental ward too. There is no proof to the claims that there was a suicide pact, there is also no proof that there wasn't...
but embarking on spiritual warfare before some big event, well, that sounds a little concerning to me.
Not enough to go on for me.
Oh for christ sake right at the first of that video she claims to be held prisoner in a FEMA camp.
Yup, I'm done, this is crap, good luck
