I don't know if this had already been pointed out in here yet or not but maybe the were referring to the most common kind of sty at home wife/gf we have these days, the kind who does maybe a total of 10 hours worth of work a week, if that, and just does whatever she pleases with all that free time....

Feminism has a courageous and intellectually meaningful history. Feminist-bashing has an ignorant and paranoid history. I will side with feminism. It has been a movement which is necessary throughout the world.

I have been a stay at home dad for 3 years pretty much. Wife makes 5x what I would in the job market and it keeps me available to also take care of my nieces and nephew if the need arises. This is what works for us at the moment. I don't loaf around and do nothing. I keep my little girl entertained and intrigued in the world around us the best I can. I am sure many people frown down on me as a deadbeat or whatever term they decide to use, but it's working out alright for the time being, and as soon as she starts school in a couple of months I will hop back into the workforce wiping butts and taking care of adult babies so to speak. Every family has priorities and no we do not take any form of gov assistance. This works out well for us, to each their own I suppose.

It was necessary in the 20s, and I would argue is necessary in certain parts of the world today. In the western world though, the modern feminist movement is a joke. It's nothing more than a bunch of obvious lesbians, looking for a reason to hate men.

Feminists are the ones who are ruining the image of women all around the world.
What you do is completely legitimate and in no way effects the status of any other woman in the world, to say that it does is complete lunacy.
These feminists have no idea what they are doing, poisoning the minds of females and males a like.
They should be egalitarians and allow women to make their own choices, along with men about how they think they should be treated, how they should live their lives and how it's nobody else's business but your own what you do with it.

A reply that reeks of arrogance and ignorance.
All ugly women are feminists. Unbelievable. You equate a woman's WORTH with her physical beauty?
Now that's ugly....
I didn't say "all" I said "usually". And it's part of our biology - we're hardwired to seek out healthy mates. Don't blame me, blame evolution.

It's not the op that degrades women, it's the women that are feminists. They degrade women, they degrade the roll for women in society and try to force women into roles they were never meant to have.
Women should not be police, they should not be military and there are psychological and physical reasons for both. When you start forcing people to feel they can and should play roles they were never intended to play, that's when you are degrading them, not when they take charge of the roles society and physiology has created for them and work their asses off at them.

There's nothing wrong with a woman or a man being the stay at home person as long as there is a true need for it and they are actually doing what needs to be done and not just neglecting those needs which is all too common these days. If there isn't a need for more than 10 hours worth of the work in total for a week, a child, elderly or disabled person needing taken care of, then why can't both work and split the at home workload so that more money is coming into the household leading to an earlier retirement for the otherwise only worker as well as more stuff and vacations and whatnot...
