Here is one of the reasons I don't like illegal aliens. Yes, I know, legal immigrants and citizens kill too...but these don't have to happen, if the borders were secure.

It's a tragedy when any murder or violent crime happens...I'm sorry...I honestly don't care if the victim is an American citizen or not...it is always a human being and that is all that matters.

1. Fine employers $50,000 per illegal hired (first offense). $250,000 and 10 years in prison for each violation after that.

I support that.

2. K-12 education for Citizens and LEGAL immigrants ONLY!

Again...I don't care if the children are citizens or not...they are here at no fault of their own...we should educate them. No child should be go without an education where there is education available.

3. Treat emergencies at the hospital...then deport if patient is here illegally.

It's not the job of doctors and nurses to check legal status....it is there job to treat patients...to heal human beings...not care if they are legal or not.

4. Modify the 14th Amendment to require ONE parent be a Citizen before birthright citizenship is granted to the child.

Never going to happen...if you are born on American soil...you are an American.

Learn to love it...because that is never going to change.

5. Bring the troops home from Afghanistan, Iraq, etc. and put them on the border. Shoot to kill.

Shoot to kill...you are a complete and utter jackass. Yes...let's shoot and kill women and children...yeah...I know you think that makes you sound super macho and cool on the internet...but in reality, it makes you sound like a heartless douche.

I'm fine with geography...I think you need a bit more help than a map.

Because there is an advantage. Because there is a difference. Whether you want to believe it or not, this country is not a walk-in diner; not everyone can get served.

It used to work just like that...until generations and generations went by and their descendants decided they are now entitled to the country...they decided we are "full" and that now it should be very difficult for new immigrants to come...oh yeah...it should also cost money.

So I will stay true to our ancestors and still think of this country as the land of opportunity for anyone...yes...anyone...who wants to come here and work for a better life.

This is more like a private residence where you simply don't go if not allowed. And not just this country... every other country is like that, only the vast majority of them will never allow you to become a citizen.

Yes...I know that is what you believe...you are an elitist...you believe you are privledged and entitled. Not because you worked hard, not because you did a damn thing...just because you were born here.

I love how a lot of you are aspiring to be just like every other country...I'm sorry...but I thought we were supposed to be an example to the rest of the world.

Actually, yes I do in a way. The American culture is defined by those "imaginary" lines you find so despicable. it is the Federal government's job, actually the President's job, to defend those borders per the US constitution

The OP couldn't be further from reality for me. I don't hate illegal immigrants because they work harder or because I'm racist. Here's the top reasons I hate illegal immigrants:

1) They break the law to come here and don't get punished. If I were to break the law, I would get punished.

Have you ever commited a minor "crime" and not been caught...ever speed or roll through a stop sign??? Should I hate you for it???

2) They bring with them drugs, gangs, and violence.

Demonize, Demonize, Demonize....Spread that hate.

3) They don't get raped by the government like I do, which leads me on to number 4.

4) They don't have to pay taxes (they are not contributing anything to society monetarily) but yet they leech off the system and in many cases are able to collect all sorts of benefits that I can't even get, even though I pay taxes and get raped by Uncle Sam!! Just recently they were able to collect 4 BILLION dollars in tax credits from the IRS - even though they've never paid taxes! See here: www.factcheck.org...

5) They can come and get free health care and get taken care of fast, but even though I work my ass off and pay taxes I have to pay out $700 a month for health insurance (self-employed) and have to wait months to get any treatment as I wait for the insurance companies to approve certain things.

You are free to drop your healthcare and get the same exact free healthcare that they get.

Free clinics and ERs.

Of course...it is really really bad healthcare...but you make it sound so great...I think you should really try it.

6) They can to go to college for free, while me being a law-abiding, tax-paying citizen would have to pay $50,000+ for a 4 year degree at my local university! See www.freerepublic.com...

IRS Form 1099 is not an employment form. A job, as in one that is paid by the hour on a regular basis for performing some task, requires a Form W-2. The 1099 is used to report business expense. This expense can be monies paid to a contractor, but it also covers other things. The one thing it does not, and can not, cover is wages. This is a direct violation of the IRS regulations (and no, I will not look them up for you; I'm going to bed!). Try to pay an employee using a 1099 and you will quickly find yourself up to your eyeballs in penalties and fines.

I get paid with 1099's all the time. Currently 3 of my contracts are being paid through 1099's. When I have sub-contractors of my own...I pay them through 1099's.

The difference is that an employee is directly supervised and is under continuous control of the employer. A contractor is not directly supervised by the contractee and is not under continuous supervision. Also, a contractor has the right to accept or refuse a particular task while an employee does not. An employee can be fired; a contractor cannot be fired, but can only be released from their contract.

Try to demand that the guy you are paying with a 1099 put in a full 8-hour day... go ahead. If he knows the law, you just bought yourself a whole mess of headache.

Lets see, Doctors offices where I was denied receptionist jobs because I didn't speak Spanish, McDonalds, Wendys, Burger King, Olive Garden. Excuse me? No, now speaking Spanish is a requirement for most jobs, not a job skill. Job skills are the ability to answer a phone, send a fax, use a computer, put a bun on a burger, etc etc etc.

I'm sorry i had to reply after only reading the first page because i saw where this was going. Basically the OP (whom which i have never really disliked) is saying "If you are against illegal immigrants, i'm going to make up whatever reason I can to disagree with what you are saying, even if i point to something i said to someone else after you said your post".

Give it up, nobody is ever going to completely agree that illegal immigration is a good thing, because it's Illegal. I've worked with illegal immigrants before and they will always try to do what they can and work hard, but it will always be a drain if they are able to get paid less than what an average person will expect because they allow corporate, or even small business, corruption.

Perfect example, The illegal guy who accepts 7 dollars an hour to paint a house compared to the person who is an experienced legal citizen painter who has always been paid 12 dollars an hour to paint a house. Not only will the illegal accept the 7 dollars an hour because he is Desperate and already illegal, most likely he will get his 2 buddies who are also illegal (and probably don't know english) to help him and get the job done in half the time. That one illegal will split his pay with his buddies (or family members) and they will live in van for whatever reason and send most of the money back home.

SO, in retrospect we have one legal citizen not able to find work because these companies will hire these illegals for little over half the pay and 2x the results and get used to doing this. Soon an entire section of the work force is like this because all of the sudden, because all of these illegals are coming here with no intention of supporting society, we have people out of work and companies/corporations rising up in the big wig status to support their own means and the working class as a whole suffers. THen, similar companies who aren't as big have to start bending the law to hire illegals because they can't support themselves by paying the minimum wage. Companies that paint 20-50 houses a year can't compete with the companies that paint 130-150 houses a year because they employ illegals. Then, because these types of jobs are mainly held by illegals, it gets classified as "a job the Lazy americans don't want" because even if they take the jobs, they will be paid minimum wage and the average american can't live on minimum wage and support himself. Therefore we HAVE to start living in groups of 5 or more to even support ourselves.

SO, the land of opportunity turns into a land of trying to survive. Nobody can go to college because they would have to put themselves in horrible debt they can't get out of for years just to get a decent education to even have the HOPE to get self-sufficient.

Fake scenario? Well look around, this is what happened and how we are in the craphole economy that we have become. Companies got tired of even having to pay 3 dollars an hour and they had enough money raked in that they shipped all the manufacturing to China and other Asian countries because it cost them less to pay kids over there 1 dollar a 12 hour day to make things and ship them back here.

You want to say it hasn't had an effect. Look at why there are so many people on welfare. Why the unemployment rate has risen from 3% average to an unofficial 15 to 25%.
