The cloud will not hit the Sun. The heliosphere keeps it at bay and has been for thousands of years.

Doom porn has taken over google
I thought we were already going through the interstellar fluff, but now it's getting harder to find out the real info, the sites at the front of the google pages are littered with doom sites.

Some sites say we've been in the cloud (fluff) for thousands of years already, and others seem like they're saying we're entering it.

I think some people are also lost in semantics, someone on page 2 or 3 mentioned a protective bubble surrounding the solar system, someone else came along and said "there's no bubble"

I'm pretty sure the "bubble" being referred to, is the heliosphere.
As little as I know about science, I do know it's our solar systems protection. Or at least shields us from the fluff.

I read about half of this thread, and I have to laugh.

Some science in this thread is proven fact, some science in this thread is a scientific theory. There is a difference, and some of the theories will never be proven. Can't be proven.

Unless some one who goes through a theoretical black hole, survives (according to the theory, a person can not survive) and comes back to tell about it, well, I call that a paradox.

Can any of these things happen? There is a possibility.

Is it smart to be prepared? Yes.

Like Agent K said in Men in Black, "People are a stupid animal."
