Never viewed ATS as a popularity contest - as long as a post is reasoned, considered and respectful I've always tried to respect other points of view etc and tried to show respect and common courtesy.

Unfortunately far too many appear unwilling or unable to accept alternative points of view to their own.

Sounds pretty acurate to me.
