Russian Air Force on standby to evacuate Russians from Syria

Russia’s Air Force is prepared to assist if the government orders the evacuation of Russian citizens from volatile Syria, Deputy Air Force Commander Vladimir Gradusov announced on Saturday.

He added that Russia will not abandon its citizens in Syria if the conflict deteriorates.

Syria has been engulfed in violence for the last two years. Moscow wants the conflict to stop as end as possible and urges the warring parties to comply with Kofi Annan’s peace plan.

The Russians are going to teach their little buddy how to take care of these protests.

I wouldn't want to be one of the Syrian rebels.

The U.S. won't do anything. We had a chance but I don't think the U.S. will risk a conflict against Russia over Syria.
