Just saw Prometheus, Indoctrination?

Well, the shape change could be:
1.factions.
2. difference in needs of the vehicle.
3. that's supposed to cover HOW many years of elapsed time? Shouldn't a superior race have some new technology, unless it's a stagnant race?

Am I the only one that caught that they were Nasca-style lines? I think if you blink you miss it.

It was too high level, light on detail and won't be a cult film IMO.

2093 we will not have that tech either, not a chance. No way.

Was entertained though, some clever bits. 3d was woeful.

Will not wait for blu ray copy. 5/10

There were a few learning points in the movie.

- Never leave the starship without a hand weapon. Phaser / Glock 9 MM

- Don't trust the android....ever.

- Always bring along separate shuttlecraft just in case your starship gets destroyed.

For as long as I can remember I have always felt we are nothing more than some other beings creations in their Petri dish. With religion being nothing more than a way to exert control among us so we didn't continue on like the knuckle draggers in the first part of 2001. All of which has been distorted by humans ever since. I'm probably wrong but that's what I have always felt.

Promethius was a huge let down for me too, I didn't expect an action flick or any real tie in to the Alien films but I found the movie to be extremely dull to sit through. I could have watched it in fast forward and had the same viewing experience. Just felt very slow with nothing really going on in the film to justify its pace.

I really didn't catch any huge underlying message when all was said and done.
