Basically this video is the plot for a new videogame that can turn reality in a very near future if it hasn't already.

Cool intro trailer, and yeah closely tied to the way reality already is, thanks for the link.

If you haven't seen it already, this is a link to a gameplay
demo video of the same game.
Looks absolutely awesome!
Enjoy.

Thanks, and agreed! Sandbox cyberpunk/cyberpunk inspired games are the one thing I think I prefer the thought of to anything else, so this could be amazing. Had big hopes for Deus Ex : Human Revolution but it wasn't open or big enough, hopefully this'll be a lot better.

Yeah i much prefer a good sandbox style game as opposed to a linear
type. Too many good games with great looking environments but no
freedom to explore at your own leisure.
I've never played nor heard of Deus-ex. Is it worth buying?

Depends really. It's a great game graphically and some of the level design is up there with the best I've ever seen, but the replay value isn't that good and you can't move freely between areas once you're done. You're always locked into the area you're in, so it's not a true sandbox game. Saying that though, if you can pick it up cheap it's probably worth a playthrough if you're into that type of thing, and it does have some great moments.

edit : that's the latest game in the deus ex series, sorry. (deus ex : human revolution.) There's others too, and the first one (deus ex.) is well accepted as being an all time classic, with its storyline and gameplay.
