A Question Regarding Demonic possession

So I've been watching this documentary on Demonic possession:



But it does raise a question for me. What I've been told about demonic possession is that a demon can not possess you against your will, that you have to want to be possessed.

It that's true then doesn't it stem to logic that if you don't want the demon anymore then it has to leave? Why would it take an exorcism to force it to evacuate the body?

And wouldn't it be possible for a demon to possess an unbeliever since they don't have faith to keep it from possessing a victim with a needed invitation?

Its impossible for a demon to possess anyone really because well they arent real.

Anyone tells you anything other than that, then they are lieing.

All you have to do to be possessed is to allow it to come in. Most are never aware of the invitation. There are many things you can do in life that will open doors to this situation.

Thank you for adding nothing to the thread other than your own smug assertions. Anyone on here who believes in the Bible intrinsically believes in demons, because they're part and parcel to the story contained therein. Therefore, according to you, if anyone tells the OP that the Bible is truth, they are lying. I just love the arrogance of that position. Your denial of such things bares no more weight in evidence than does the contrary position...they're both merely belief.

I think the problem is, demons are very good liars, tricksters and manipulators. They can make you want them to stay through psychological means. Does that help?

I dont claim to know all the answers, but something is going down in this world! I dont think anyone ask for this! These things whatever they are can jump in and out of anyone! Demon or Alien- I dont know. I can tell you how to see what is going on around everyone. Start paying attention to other Humans Eyes- Make eye contact with everyone! You may notice a change in color, such as black and then back to normal, or one eye will change and the other will remain the same.

You may see these beings as either small lights, shadows, or orbs jumping from person to person.

If these beings jump into someone- they may also use allot of hand gestures when talking to them.

The most important way to see this is going on in whatever area you are in- Watch other humans in general..Look for them BOWING their heads when you pass them.

Good or Bad..whatever is going on- Demons, Arch-Angels, Aliens, God and Satan himself are here on Earth active! There is some-kind of Spiritual Battle Going on!

Dear ESC, I didn't watch the film because its an hour long, but I'm going to.

A Christian's position: I know a little about demon possession myself. One of the biggest untruths out there is that the individual can exorcize themselves. Sometimes this is true, but not always. One of the biggest downfalls of being of your own mind---is family bloodline. Bloodline affects the way the higher power sees you. It can taint your reputation so to speak although I think it is far more complicated than that. God probably has less to do with this than the relative.

I have this. My grandmother was a terrible person and her activities when she was alive were secretive and better left unknown. This has made every day of my life a struggle for me. I fill my mind with all of the good things I can find. If you are a Christian, then you know that in the end times all of the old rules will change also. So, it might be more difficult to deal with demons due to a depression in the availability of the Holy Spirit (ruach ha kodesh).

Cool suggestion, I will try this. I have noticed that in going to a mall, when I returned I felt tired. Now, I look for people who are trying to suck the life out of me. In my mind, I simply pull the power back into me. I look for this and it works!

Several years ago when I was at the mall and in line, I felt this pull from the woman in front of me. I pulled the power back into me. She turned around and looked at me in surprise, like "hey, you know?!" I've never been the same ever since and always look for this. No more tired mall trips.

I would recommend seeing the video. It does have some interesting footage in it. Some of that footage is a hoax or misidentified, though. I don't know if all of it is.

Theres actually quite a bit of footage about exorcism and demon possession... Though i have issues believing Demons actually exist or have the ability to "possess" people..

But who knows honestly... anything is possible...

Demons are the less powerful malevolent entities that require gaining an influence or control over a person or animal in order to have any physical presence.
Since by their very nature they are deceptive, their initial influence is usually a positive or benign one to encourage trust and to comfort their target. I haven't read the video, but are you saying they are possessing children? Or do I just need to finish my coffee..lol...
Typically, in most cases, children are not subject to influence until they reach age 7 or thereabouts. I don't really know why, but that is the general age at which they are considered to have reached "accountability". Of course, there are likely exceptions to the rule, of which I don't understand and have nothing of value to give you on that subject.

It is more complicated than that, but from what I can glean from your post, you are a believer, thus you have already been given the victory over that crap.
There is a book by Derek Prince called, "Blessings and Curses". This may be of interest to you if you feel oppressed by the notion of generational curses. Although they do exist, and if you have reason to believe that your family has been affected, you are no longer subject to the effect as a believer. Don't be deceived into believing that you are, either!
That's the whole premise of salvation. The antidote has been given to us, but we have to employ it to gain immunity. And contrary to many Christian's understanding, employing our salvation is an on-going, day-to-day job and not without its ups and downs.

You are right on with the statement about initially bringing comfort and trust. Otherwise, who would allow themselves to be brought into the situation? I know this is true from experience also. I was in a situation where I was being lulled by dark forces and was completely unaware. It was of course because of things I was into at the time that I thought were bringing me to some state of enlightenment. Well, when I was snapped back to reality in an instant those dark forces were not happy and made my life Hell. It was very difficult to break away and sometimes I'm not so sure that they don't still try to have influence over me.

As for children, it is hard for them to get their hooks in them, though they do try. They have no sympathy or anything like that. If they could, they'd just as soon destroy those innocent little ones but they can't so easily.

There is a website that you may find interesting if you want to read more about it & aren't opposed to reading about it from Christian perspective.
Bear in mind that some of it is pure conjecture, as are many things of this nature.

No man can make a "demon" leave. Once you are marked, only above can remove. Exorcisms have no weight on below.

This is of truth. You can tell if someone is marked via the eyes. Along with the black and dark tint to the eyes, they will also have a smirk when you look at them directly. It is between a smile and a grin, but not of good.

When this takes place, you are still in your body, but pushed aside so to speak. You cannot walk on walls, and have super human strength. They are only strong enough in which body they occupy in.
