This is an offshoot from Jean Paul Zodeaux's
thread here, thus continuing
his story;
At the sight of Carrie’s soft smile, something changed within Kevin. Something he had never felt, yet somehow eternally knew began its slow rise
from the depths of his soul. Slowly, he stood before her, carefully removing his shirt. She stared at taut muscles flexing with the movement of arms
and body. He scooped her into his arms and began the journey to the water’s edge. Electricity coursed through veins rather than blood now, she
trembled as he sat her once more upon her feet. Words no longer necessary, blood and heartbeat, electric charges through flesh were the sole
communication of this moment.
Time stopped as he stripped himself of all created by the hands of men. On powerful legs he stood, exposed flesh before her ravenous eyes. As he knelt
before her upon earth carpeted with the fallen leaves in this forest that existed since time began, the only sound in her ears was the sound of blood
coursing through veins. The only scent wafting through air, that of primal man and primal woman. Slowly, carefully, he began releasing her flesh from
the trappings of cloth, button by button, exposing more and more until she was no more than flesh touched by the moons gentle kiss. Hand in hand, they
walked together, out into the water.
It is said that the religion of God travelled upon the face of the waters, and it is here, in the midst of the silken kiss of water encasing bare
flesh, that the purest of knowledge returned. It whispered a sweet symphony exposing knowledge of man’s reason since time began, it spoke of matters
both higher and those baser. Fully human and fully animal now, he leaned down his head brushing ever so lightly his lips upon hers. As she exhaled her
breath he breathed her deeply inside of him, taking with his inhalation that part of her that is soul, as he exhaled she in turn breathed him into the
depths of her, her need the only real.
Devoid of anything of the mind, instinct alone guiding their path. Flesh a symphony of sensation, at once in holy union and one in unity. Water
caressing and encasing flesh, speaking to the nature of man as mann and woman as woman, dying while yet able to draw breath. The colors of the rainbow
exploding simultaneously behind shuttered eyes, the two, as one, transcended the known. With a gasp, their souls transcended flesh, travelling beyond
this realm, beyond this universe, beyond the heavens themselves.
As silence decended upon the now darkened forest, in the far distance came a piercing howl. A cry primal; communing with spirit, nature, and universe
at once. The call of the wolf, the call of the wild. As if in joining there came a second yet lower howl, and the two cries mixed as one, their joy
complete.
For this night, in this forest which existed since man first walked the face of the earth, the transformation was complete. Man had become, fully...
beast.
