Was delighted t o find this free download of it, even more thrilled to find it was the varo edition, containing notes from three unknowns

from article
The astronomers have seen two distinct classes of objects: the spherical, definitely outlined ones, and the hazy, nebulous ones. Both have appeared to undergo intelligent manipulation and exhibit erratic motions. In all of these are features that have counterparts among the sightings listed by lay observers since 1947. Simultaneous observations by two or more observers have at times established the approximate distances of the UFO's through study parallax. ("Parallax" is the displacement, often measurable, caused by looking at an object from two different points; e.g. hold up a finger and view it with first one eye and then the other. The displacement against a distinct background is parallax.)

Thanks for posting your find, this looks interesting and relevant.

Has anybody done a thorough study of the notes in the Varo Edition?

For example, on page 97, Mr. B talks about the Oliver Lerch abduction, even though it actually happen. (Someone investigated, and it turned out there was no such family in South Bend, Indiana, around that time. The Lang family didn't exist, either.) And the sketch on page 111 contradicts the statement that the Devil's Footprints were in a straight line.

Also, did the Great War happen during the decade of the comets (1877 - 1887, which agrees with the "seventy years ago" comment)?
