as messed up as we are in the US today, I still feel that we're quite capable as a millitary force. Again.. Money has nothing to do with war when you're in it.. It's for the before and after. We could be the brokest country in the world (we probably are getting very close), but remember, so many countries are wrapped up into out currency, ALL will go with us if money is the deciding factor here, and without a single dime, we would still be able to stokpile weapons enough to destroy the world a hundred fold.

The U.S. has a Navy that wouldn't let any Chinese Ships any closer to the U.S. Mainland that halfway across the distance from China to Taiwan. The U.S. has a Super High Tech. Sub Fleet that would obliterate any Chinese Subs or Surface Ships and the U.S. Carrier Groups are very close to being impenetrable.

As far as Biological Warfare...the U.S. CDC is the most advanced facility in the world...and with U.S. ABM systems as well as the new FEL...CHINA has NO CHANCE....ZERO....on any possible attack.

You cannot even compare the two countries as even if you added Russia and even a few more...the U.S. Military would still be far in advancement.

The reality is that China has changed it's entire mindset as far as any direct confrontation with the U.S. Even the one time Hot Spot...Taiwan...is now a distant memory as the Chinese Military were invited recently to watch U.S. Military Exercises and much to the Chagrin of the Old Communist Guard...the Chinese Military Leadership that was invited to watch U.S. exercises...made the statement to the World Media that against the U.S. Military...China would have NO CHANCE.

Australia publicly ASKED the United States for help when England couldn't guarantee it's safety due to the rising conflicts in Europe. We didn't do anything? You really think Australia could've held it's own? Battle of the Coral Sea sound familiar to you at all? New Guinea? 500,000 US troops. By 1944, 2\3 of Australia's imports were from the United States.

Americas involvement in world war 2 CANNOT be downplayed. Give credit where credit is due.

America has the best weaponry in the world. They certainly wouldn't need help from Europe. They only are threatened by Russia and China. Germany, lost War World 2 because they overstretched their supply lines, fought too many wars on too many fronts, and hadn't enough man to fill the gaps were it was needed.

Germany under the Nazis, had around 10 million troops/ the Allies had 40 to 50 million. So there was no way possible for Nazi Germany to have been successful here. Hitler was a terrible military strategist and a awful leader.

Any War between East and West will likely go nuclear as there would be a attempt to safe face if one side was facing immediate defeat in a big way.

Chinese have one advantage over the United States (more troops) Planes and tanks can only do a certain amount of damage, previous wars have shown this. Vietnam and Korea proved technology doesn't win wars.

The U.S. Military has no plans for an invasion of China. The Chinese do not have the capacity to ferry Chinese Troops safely across any large Ocean or even the body of water between China and Taiwan. Any Chinese attempt to do so would result in the total obliteration of any surface ships or ocean going troop carriers.

The Chinese have smartly decided that Co-Operation with the United States...their largest Trading Partner...is a far better prospect than WAR.

Even if....for some unknown reason of which I cannot even think of....the U.S. Military decided to engage Chinese Troops....Such an engagement would not be done conventionally due to China's less advanced but higher numbers of Soldiers. Such an attack by U.S. Forces would be done using Non-Nuclear EMP's as well as the possibility of using the FEL....and I think this would NEVER HAPPEN as it would be a BLLOD BATH....against Ground Targets.

Having a Massive Number of Troops is fine and all....but if you cannot use them in any Force Projection method without being Blown out of the Water...what good are they? Split Infinity

There are many countries with a unique army in many of them so it would be a separate choice between each one rather than the whole of Europe as one for example if Germany sided with China but England sided with America that would be two different countries in Europe besides you say "Russia and China" but Russia is part Europe and part Asia so this is an inaccurate question Try "Why should any country back America?" because well why should anyone?

In all honesty I would refuse to back America! They are broke and have nothing to offer us! They just want control and fail at maintaining their own country, other countries are no better but they don't go ignoring it so much. Why would you want to back them? I am sure I would be in one of those rebel alliances that fight against my own country if they went to war. China vs America could cause destruction in most if not all countries, economic meltdown for all! Australia is not safe on their island! Who would they trade with if the rest of the world fell. If only the world wasn't so corrupt with greed and power these problems would have never had the chance to happen.. If only there was a way to wipe us back to the late 1890's early 1900's.
