Really??? That's is usual isn't it

I think there's a huge difference between physic ability & intuition, if you had said " she was a physic" that would be different. I think intuition is not really knowing that something is going to happen, it's a feeling about wether something is right or wrong. Learning to tune in & ignore logic would be a hard thing. Who knows if she didn't feel right in someway as she was driving off. As for us women, yes we know what your upto!! :p

I think intuition gets a feminine aspect because women in our societies tend to listen to instinct more.

However us males have just as much of it

Talk is cheap while signaling properly pays off!

This has to be one of the shortest OP I have ever seen that gives an entire story.

My reply: Irony

Well, women's intuition has more to do with relationships than pre-cognition. A woman knows certain things are happening to her family members if she listens to her intuition. I am sure that men have this capability as well, it just isn't talked about as much.

I am curious, what was the woman saying about "a woman's intuition"? Was she bragging about it, or did she give any examples of what she meant?

I have to say, I laughed a little at your short and sweet OP.

She is a friend of my sisters and both of them were ganging up on me telling me about intuition “feeling it in the waters” and all that other stuff that makes a guy want to puke…then on her way home she crashed into a tipper truck.

Luckily she was OK but I laughed so hard tears were coming down my eyes

P.S

I’m going to tease her about this for the rest of her mortal life…she best change her name and move address!

Intuition just means they use their brain in a way they just want an answer without using this thing called ratio which men often use to be able to get a possible glimpse about how something might turn out. Intuition means getting the answer and question without having anything to do for it really, just "opening up" as I've sometimes heard, I guess to the magic that is in the brain? Why women would want intuition I guess it's because they have more time to enjoy "feelings" and emotions, something which is almost absent during the processes that I would like to call 'the ratio" but does give something of a longer overall feeling in the background once a process has finished.

I recommend "Blink", a book by Malcom Gladwell. Much of what we call "intuition" is a result of the subconscious brain's ability to see patterns and make connections, which we act upon, without ever realizing what is happening in our conscious brains.

Anything by Malcom Gladwell is interesting, but I really enjoyed reading this one.
