Actually, this is proof that it was an "outside" job. The destruction clearly indicates that trowing the ring in the hot lava, way outside the BTC at the volcano, initiated the collapse. So it's an outside job.

Clearly this was an inside job perpetrated by Cartoon Network Adult Swim and the DHS. They are the only ones who know where middle earth and mordor is located.
