VIDEO: UFO in Portland, Oregon - 28/5/12

A bright, white, flashing orb-like UFO, staying still, then moving erratically like a kite.

Could this be some kind of a circular-small kite/balloon with light on it, I don't really think so, because it was stationary, and who would fly those things in conditions like that?

Or perhaps it was a just a stupid RC plane/chopper?

My first impression is that it's one of those new remote control quad blade helicopter thingies... otherwise.. maybe a ballon with a LED being swept around in air currents.

Doesn't it seem a little high up for a remote controlled device? Beyond some DARPA drone what is the maximum height a solid RC device flies these days? 1000ft?

Great footage! I been watching UFOs for about a decade now, so to me it look like and maneuver like an UFO, everyday more and more people are going to start seeing UFOs way more then ever before, reason for that is the more people accept them the easier it will for the introduction of other Beings from other worlds for the sake of good love&peace.

I agree it could be poor CGI as to my eyes the UFO doesn't seem to track properly against the clouds but that could just be due to the low res camera in low light .
It could also be an RC toy or it could be Aliens ...hard to tell due to the low quality

Sounds true. But to me it's the relationship or lack of it between the object and camera/hand shake. They somehow do not match up. I'm afraid it really looks like a bad CGI.

Excellent video. looks very very similar to what the OP posted. looks like the same phenomena. you video shows that it really doesn't seem like a RC craft or CGI.

yeah it was right after the miami heat game...walked outside to go to my buddies house and they were sooo bright you couldnt help but not notice them...very weird indeed

Also strange is the blue shift in the objects in your video. At first I figured it was caused by the camera, some internal issue. but the more I watch it the more it seems like the objects are indeed turning bright electric blue at times.

Did other people see it too when you were filming, what were their reactions if any?

yeah i was using my iphone 4s to film....and yeah it was me and 2 of my friends outside watching this. one neighbor did drive by and i pointed it out to him but i didnt get to hear his reaction. but my friends were in just as much amazement as me. they were hovering over that same spot for about 15 minutes then they just faded out and disappeared.

damn that # is creepy, what kind of phone was it shot with? ..LOL @ the dude that says "we live this #"

I am sorry by as soon as I hear the commentary the whole video is immediately downgraded.
Simply a few LED on a radio controlled toy, but then again I wouldn't expect the commentator to know that...

I am the camera guy that took this video, I filmed what I saw leaving the skate park & idk how this ended up on here, but it's pretty dope lol
To me it looked like some kind of flying saucer & it was well behind the clouds. I don't believe in aliens or anything, but seeing that object in the sky doing what it did tripped me out lol
