Alright, so everyone knows, this is a question thread--I need all different opinions and perspectives.
I recently moved out of mum's house, and in with my fiance and friends, and all the fallout food I've been saving for the past year, I left with my
family. I left my little sister in charge of it, because I wanted them all to have a stash of their own, and I know my mother wouldn't buy it
herself.
But, many things I used to buy were instant American ramen and instant mashed potatoes. After the things I've found out about ramen recently, I
don't want to buy it anymore. It has almost no nutritional value, and barely takes up space in your stomach. Instant mashed potatoes aren't great
either, but I'll buy a few boxes... cuz they're cheap.
I've excluded a lot of foods from the list that I used to buy. Now, here I am, starting over from scratch, and don't know where to start. I know to
buy distilled water, and once we get a deep freezer, we'll get lots of meat, but that's about it.
Those of you truth seekers who store up fallout food, what do you store up? And why? Is it cheap? What do you suggest?
I'm open to anything, any suggestions. We get about 300$ in a couple weeks, I'm just trying to think ahead (we haven't been spending wisely
lately).
Your thoughts...?
