From Lurking to Posting

Hi,
I've been lurking for a while. A good real-time friend has an account and I've looked over shoulders, but decided it was time that I post myself.
Not sure exactly where my interests may take me, I like to jump around.
Jack of all trades, master of none sort of thing.

P- stands for post

F-for flags

S-for stars

W- your Watts index score- This is a result of a formula that takes into account the posts, flags and stars. The higher the W, the higher the ranking of the individual poster. You'll see some posters with gold or silver borders. This indicates a higher watts index

K- Karma- just a quick glance rating of the individual based on posts/stars/flags ratio.

Thank you! I was wondering what all the numbers were! So it's kind of like a ranking system or something?

Do I get prizes? Maybe a new car?! LOL

I'm at a friend's house and he stepped out for a while. He could have told me more about how to do things on this forum before taking off! LOL
How many posts do I have to have before sending messages to people? I'm not comfortable posting everything to the threads on some of them because there are some of the people who get a little rough!

20 post tell you can u2u some one, and i see that now you have past that mark.

ATS can be a bit like that, but it's not supposed to be.
I encourage you to post in threads, to discuss.
It's a discussion board, and by discussing topics, we might just get to the bottom of things.
Don't worry about the trolls, just do your thing and stay within the T&C.
That should be enough.
