It works both ways. Being observed, this is opportunity to teach them. Interactive net is a much more efficient tool than the idiot box. This actually helps restore our voice in society and government, though it provides a channel for manipulation. But I repeat, it cuts both ways.

I think the greatest upside is the dawning realization that with free and autonomous individuals it is actually easier to keep an orderly and productive society. Harsh authoritarian rule is on its way out. It is only needed when government and controlling entities are employing devious and unhanded means to carry out their own illegal agendas. They now know we are largely on to most of those old games.
