Okay, first of all, how did La Presse get these statistics?
They don't say. I don't know about you, but I distrust mainstream media,
especially when so much of it is owned by the same people.
All they say is that their survey was filled by 800 participants,
no other information is provided, such as, HOW the survey was conducted,
they just say that it is reliable, in good faith of course.
Quebec tuition fees are almost the lowest in Canada
Only if you compare Nominal costs,
no one will ever show you a Real cost comparison.
I don't agree with everything some of the students do,
I'm a student myself and have chosen to go to school,
however, I do support the protests, someone has to say enough is enough.
which mean that I already pays 14.5% of taxes on everything
But it never was about whether the students were right or wrong,
it's about you not wanting to pay higher taxes.
I agree, you shouldn't, and if you didn't just mindlessly follow mainstream
media you'd know that these protests have evolved past tuition fee increases,
people protest for freedom
people protest for their futures
people protest because the government is corrupt, and because we pay too many taxes as it is.
If you read mainstream media so much, you should know by now that all levels
of government are corrupt to the core, they steal your money.
We pay with blood and sweat and we get nothing in return,
the real question is, where does the money go?
We already have free access the healthcare
What free healthcare? People die in the ER waiting room.
Reason? No funding.
Education was supposed to be free from the get go,
wasn't that what the liberals and NDP worked on as a coalition government
so many years ago that brought us these basic social services?
I say we AUDIT all levels of government.
