Where I live, this will be the mode of transportation:
Nothing but 100's upon 100's of kms of non-stop lakes, rivers, and waterways all joining each going all the way up to Nunavut.
A 20 minute drive north of me, the roads literally end... After that, it's nothing but winter ice roads that the truckers use to get to the northern
communities. Most northern Manitoba roadways are on the west side of the province, here on the east side is pretty much nothing but untamed wild
bush.
I love where I live.
Now, if only I could do something about the dang pterodactyl sized skeeters...
