Two simple questions for atheists/naturalists

I don't really think we can answer those questions through religion, science or whatever. I don't think we should really worry about them either because it doesn't look like they'll be honestly answered in our lifetimes or those of our children for a long, long time. There are plenty of problems that need to be addressed in our world now before we can even begin to think about these things.
