Obama's EVER- Changing Story(ies)....(He thought about Chicago Mayor. not POTUS!)

Despite the claims made in the 1991 sales brochure produced by literary agent Jane Dystel, I do not believe Barack Obama was born in Kenya. But I do believe that Obama said he was. The agency’s alleged fact-checking error is pure bull. I have written eight books myself, and I got to review every piece of promotional literature sent out about me or about my books. All authors get to do this.

The question that must be asked is why would Obama say he was born in Kenya if he was not. Well, from early on no doubt, Barack Obama learned that it paid to be exotic. Foreign birth gave him a romantic allure and also allowed him to distance himself from the bitter clingers of the country he barely deigned to inhabit. “I chose my friends carefully,” he writes in “Dreams,” “The more politically active black students. The foreign students. The Chicanos. The Marxist professors and structural feminists and punk-rock performance poets.” These were the people with whom he felt comfortable. Of course, a Kenyan birth would preclude his becoming president, but in 1991, Obama was not thinking that far ahead.

“I met [Obama] sometime in the mid-1990s.” Bill Ayers would later tell Salon. “And everyone who knew him thought that he was politically ambitious. For the first two years, I thought, his ambition is so huge that he wants to be mayor of Chicago.” Friend Cassandra Butts traced that ambition back at least to Harvard. “He wanted to be mayor of Chicago, and that was all he ever talked about as far as holding office,” she would tell early Obama biographer David Mendell. The mayor of Chicago could have been born anywhere. Chicago Mayor Anton Cermak, for instance, who was assassinated in 1933 while still in office, had been born in Bohemia.

To me, this break-down makes the most sense. Obama started the whole ordeal by telling/claiming to the world he was form Kenya... to advance his political career. Well, okay then.

OBAMA was NOT born in Kenya... He is just a pathetic liar and career politician. Great. The man I Do Not want as my POTUS.

Happy? Does his lying and dodging everything the man you want at the helm? Crazy... just plain crazy.

I guess as long as he is promising "Free Entitlements", He is the MAN!!!!

Obama's personal identity crisis is now legendary. He has focused his whole career on it and on his "struggles". Struggles?? I think not.. It is all quite amazing

Look back to his Grandfather setting Obama up with Frank Marshall Davis so that Obama could have a mentor. Great choice!! It's all in Obama's own words... how he viewed his grandmother, his own mother, etc etc. He chose to embrace the culture of an "alleged" father who abandoned him rather than that of those who raised him and loved him.

Clearly the man was groomed from his days after graduating from Columbia until today. Blah Blah so many questions that were never asked during his last campaign. Questions that should be asked directly to Obama and not through a mouthpiece of a spokesman. Time for the lies to leak out of Obama's own lips not the spokesmen, not the ghost writers (Ayers!) etc etc. I want to hear it all from Obama the man. I don't want to hear the blame game, the misspeak, the errors, the fact checking oops. the leaks from Michelle on the campaign trail. (Note how quiet she's been on the campaign trail lately)

Keep fighting the good fight. Had the media done their job in the last cycle we would never be having this discussion today.

Submission guidelines at the Dystel & Goderich website (original emphasis): "[Y]ou should describe in two or three sentences—no more—what the book will be about. I posted this in the other thread. The same mistake was apparently made in four different versions of Obamas bio published by his literary agent over the course of many years as it was updated. The birthplace never changed

So I guess this is the new angle from rightwingers these elections. Just make baseless claims about Obama's past (with recycled accusations from 2008) and throw them all, hoping that some of them will stick. Not good.

If Obama has been deceptive about a significant part of his past, I think it should be revealed, but what it comes down to is evidence. To make baseless or sourceless claims, or to link us to known partisan websites, does nothing more than divide.

So you say Obama claimed he was from Kenya, where did he say this?

You believe his birth certificate is fake? Did Hawaiian health officials verify this?

Obama senior wasn't Obama's real father? And what evidence to you base this on?

This is why we have 100+ birther lawsuits down the goober, because birthers think they can get away as easily with their baseless accusations in the public arena as they do on conspiracy and partitsan forums. It doesn't work that way.
