Have many Communist/Socialist advocates have read Red Symphony?

I'm wondering if a lot of the people here who advocate Socialism or Communism, have read Red Symphony?

I would particularly like to get Leftist's opinion on the above linked excerpt. If we were to assume, hypothetically, that this is true, what are the implications where Socialism/Communism are concerned?

Anyone? I'd really like some discussion on this.
