It's just to do with MIB3, Obama probably wants to make people think he's a cool guy so he gets re-elected, so he's hanging with Will Smith and talking about aliens.

I'm sure he did that just to get a rise out of the kid. And it worked.
And I'm equally sure that Obama hasn't got a clue about any of it.
TPTB aren't going to brief him on that info. He's just a part time employee.

Heh, if I were Obama, I would TOTALLY say the same thing, just for fun. Most of his job is not much fun I figure, so when the opportunity arises, why not have some fun.

But I seriously doubt Obama has had ANY discussions about ETs with national security, and if he did, I'm sure they would just feed him a huge pack of lies.
